    Dear/ subscribers of the Chamber

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings and informs you of receiving the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (51425 / GS) dated (30/6/1440) on the control of the incoming shipments of border crossings, which are the clearing responsibility of the Authority.

The third strategic plan of the Authority included the project of allocation and processing of ports, which adopts the idea of equitable distribution of the missions through the identification of a number of outlets through which it receives refrigerated and frozen product consignments.

After the completion of the project study, it was decided to stop receiving refrigerated and frozen items for products subject to the Authority's supervision (Food, medicine, medical devices) as of (1/4/2019) of the following outlets:

    Riyadh dry port

    Khafji port

    Halat Ammar port

    Durra Border Crossing

    Duba port

    Alwadiah port
